Sometimes the dark comes
I participated in the Lucca Junior 2024 competition, Livio Sossi editorial illustration prize, for a picture book for children entitled “A volte arriva il buio” written by Francesco Morgando.
This year 423 proposals entered the competition in addition to mine.
Here the complete storyboard I presented, in which I added the italian text to understand more the story, and the two final images I realized.
I enjoyed very much doing this storyboard, and I decided to make it in a sort of b\n painting, because it seems to me really important to show how much the final images will be dark or light.
