What’s a book
I participated in the Lucca Junior 2025 competition, Livio Sossi editorial illustration prize, for a picture book for children entitled “Che cos’è un libro” written by Lucia Stipari.
This year 403 proposals entered the competition in addition to mine.
Here the complete storyboard I presented, in which I added the italian text to understand more the story, and the two final images I realized.
This year I decide to join mainly for fun. I didn’t think about what could be selected by the jury, but I decided exclusively to have fun doing the illustrations. And to draw with my personal filter, what is inherent to me.
This time I used Procreate, because I drew in scraps of time, while I waited my son doing her sportive an musical activities, sometimes sit down inside a car.
